just two tips.
visit the melkweg.there you found music ,nice people ,and of course great party tips (google melkweg).
when you like coffeeshops than don´t visit "the bulldog "
its just a expensive tourist trap !!

BTW: contact ANILTJE .he lives in AMSTERDAM.for shure he can give you more informations. (cheap hotels;actuell partys ecetera)

I lived in Amsterdam for 7 years I don't party a lot but go to MuseumPlein and The DAM nice shopping center etc.
And RENT A BIKE!  '

De Amsterdam, no te pierdas Musseum Plein, el Vondelpark (que aunque está un poco lejos merece la pena), el mercado de las flores, y en general andar mucho porque todo esta muy bien. Mi consejo, la Casa de Rembrandt no merece la pena en absoluto. En cuanto a Coffee Shops, si quieres ir yo te recomendaría El Dampkring, el Greenhouse o el Rokerij (por ese orden), y si vas con calma y quieres otra ciudad que merece la pena Utrecht esta a una hora en tren (11 euros si mal no recuerdo ida y vuelta) y está de putisima madre.
